jfkilshaw Joyous, feral and impossible to define. Am I losing my mind or do I hear a Celtic folk melody? Either way I can’t wait to hear the rest of it.

demonicdeviance Starting 2024 off with an insanely beautiful song. From the opening shrieks paired with such a melodic riff, it has me drawn in from the very beginning. I’ve listened before, and I’ll continue to listen for years to come. Their ability to capture the deepest emotions from the depths of your soul will always take my breath away. It’s like their melody can change my entire mood immediately. I love every second of it so far and cannot wait for the release. Favorite track: Living is Easy.

1. Picked over— Agriculture, Decompose To the soil Let it grow And in the setting sun Hold Ad infinitum Sending Gentle traveler, Green as rose Day to follow When you know As your time will come Go Know not what you’ve done At day’s end. 2. If I knew The shape of my Face before I was born I would not be afraid to die In a forest With insects eating my body I would not be afraid of that 3. i will bury another in the morning light touching if i cover i can set it right fall
2.
If I knew The shape of my face before I was born I would not be afraid to die On a mountain or in the city With insects eating my body I would not be afraid of that In a forest 3 brothers came upon a tiger and her cubs They were dying of hunger and fatigue The youngest brother said, ‘I will stay here And lay down my body. I’ll become Something good for them to eat’ And lying there, he was devoured He gazed gladly down upon his flesh as it was torn
3.
hey Camellia, what are you doing? get your feet back on the ground and find out for yourself. hey Tomato, feel the spring. give yourself another chance before you’re down. right now. hey Georgia, where did you go? try to bring yourself around before you leave. hey Rosemary, what on earth will make the bad thing go away. what do you need? what do you see 2. When the hand Came down On Tennessee, Death came ripping. What do you want me to believe? Fury born, Alight, Days deep. Crazy visions in a Stirred up kind of waking dream. 3. When you were born, we held you. You didn’t know it but you took your name then and emerged later after so many years. Sweet like okra or a comatose reverie, you found light in the gentle friction between sense and reality. Even as a child your features had definition. One folded into the next as though composed with intention. It’s true, there were many flowers like you in bloom then. Now, they toss atop bedsprings just to keep from eddying under. Their hands grip each other’s just to try to stay afloat and amidst the struggle, pleasure darts between them. It’s not easy. These words weren’t meant for you but one day they find you through another. And through you, one day they find another. And then one day another. And one day another. It’s not easy. Love should be easy to forget but it lingers like death. Happiness will never be a constant state of being. You find hope in brief, slipping grasps at revelation. You strive constantly to believe in a world just beyond the one you see. It comes to you sometimes, but only when you stop looking.
